Look at the contrast here. My salvation comes in silently waiting for the LORD, God, the Almighty. He is my rock and I will not be greatly moved vs the lies, the oral blessings and curses of man.
But aan important point in in my waiting silently (patiently) upon Him. Not grumbling. I don't think that this is an instruction to remain silent so much as it is an urging to be moderate in our answers; carefully couching them in language that in honoring to our LORD and Master.
