whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.
LORD, God the Almighty, You have passed over many of our sins but when will that patience come to an end with the Church as it did with Israel? Has the Church, with its limited refusal to confront the Sin of Moloch, finally brought about a withdrawal of Your favor? Forgive us, Lord and wash Your Bride with a cleansing revival.
