Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident.
David has no reason to be afraid of an army of pagans, nor war being declared against him. Why? He trusts in the LORD Or in other words; he knows that those who fear the LORD, God, the Almighty do not need to fear the threats of man.
