Psalms 119:97-104

John Nunnikhoven

Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day.

You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; For they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, Because I keep Your precepts.

I have restrained my feet from every evil way, That I may keep Your word. I have not departed from Your judgments, For You Yourself have taught me.

How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way.

The scribe, oh how I am looking forward to meeting him face to face, bubbles over with love for the Word of the LORD. Can't you see him. Probably not too large in stature by our standards, but with an overwhelming joy and enthauasium.

Betty had a neice, who went home to be with the Lord at 13, but Bunny was like the scribe. It never took too long, but always upon meeting a stranger, would ask, "Do you know my Jesus?" with her ear to ear grin. It took a hard, hard heart to say no and walk away. There were many whose no's were changed to a yes over time.
