Teach me your way, O LORD, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name. I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever. For great is your steadfast love toward me; you have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.
Lord, I am quick to implore and slow to praise. Forgive me, Lord, for I am weak and sinful. I want and want and want but am niggardly in my praise and thanksgiving. Fill my heart, soul and mind with Your praises, lead me beside that stream of Your Goodness that flows from Your Throne. O, Lord, that my mouth would be as ready to praise You as was David’s.
