Psalm 85:1-3
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. LORD, you were favorable to your land; you restored the fortunes of Jacob. You forgave the iniquity of your people; you covered all their sin. Selah You withdrew all your wrath; you turned from your hot anger.
Lord, once again, Your Church needs to repent and seek restoration. We have turned to the ways of the world around us, we have forsaken Your word and are not obedient to Your Law. How can we expect Your favor? Bring us to repentance, Lord, restore Your people, let Your face shine that we might be saved. Let us once again be the light that shines out of darkness.
