Psalm 81:13-18

John Nunnikhoven

Oh, that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways! I would soon subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes. Those who hate the LORD would cringe toward him, and their fate would last forever. But he would feed you with the finest of the wheat, and with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”

Lord, that all who call themselves Christians would listen to You and realize that life in the Kingdom of Heaven is a life of peace, righteousness and joy in the Holy Spirit. It is a life of consummate communion with the one true God and His Son, Jesus Christ whom He has sent. It is a life where His Church hears, “ You are precious, you are powerful, you are beautiful, I love you… And my Spirit will accomplish what you cannot.”* Hallelujah.
