He will send from heaven and save me; he will put to shame him who tramples on me. Selah. God will send out his steadfast love and his faithfulness!
LORD, how weak and ready I am to seek vindication! I passionately seek to get even with that son of evil who trampled on my pride. Let me at him, let him feel the lash of my tongue.
But in doing so, I display my lack of faith in Your steadfast love and faithfulness. You will save me; You will be glorified as a result of my trust and obedience.
Forgive me. LORD for my impetuousness. Teach me to trust You in all circumstances.
