O Lord, all my longing is before you; my sighing is not hidden from you. My heart throbs; my strength fails me, and the light of my eyes–it also has gone from me.
There is no need for me to attempt to hide my weaknesses and my lack of faith. All is open to You, all is laid out before You in all its squalor. I throw myself on Your mercy.
