The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry. The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.
Lord, this passage sums up the thought I have been wrestling with for several days–the strict dividing line between those who can look forward to the delivery of the promises and those who CANNOT. It is another statement of the “If you love Me, you will obey My commandments” principle. Those who love You enjoy the fruits of the promises, those who do not must bare the wrath of God.
