Psalm 129:1-4
A Song of Ascents. “Greatly have they afflicted me from my youth”–let Israel now say–“Greatly have they afflicted me from my youth, yet they have not prevailed against me. The plowers plowed upon my back; they made long their furrows.” The LORD is righteous; He has cut the cords of the wicked.
Incredible. Lord, incredible. You stand between me and all the wiles of the Evil One. He assaults and he throws up his siege-works. He fires his flaming arrows and advances his catapults. But Your armor is sufficient, I am at peace, I am safe in the arms of my Shepherd
