If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.
Your law is a mighty bulwark between me and the attacks of the Evil One. These attacks are intended to separate me from communion with You, but You use them, through the power of your Word to turn them to instruments of blessing and growth.
I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.
This is the John 17:3 process, to know You is to have eternal life and the knowing that comes through knowing (comprehending and applying) Your precepts.
