My zeal consumes me because my foes forget your words.
Lord, You have sent me to minister to those who not only forget Your Word but deliberately disobey.
Help me to maintain my zeal in the face of discouragement, to be faithful to you, and to Your Word.
Give me strength.
Your promise is well tried, and your servant loves it.
I am learning, Lord, learning more and more each day to trust You and to rely on Your promises.
A slow and difficult process as the old man writhes and fights oblivion.
