Ayin I have done what is just and right; do not leave me to my oppressors. Give your servant a pledge of good; let not the insolent oppress me. My eyes long for your salvation and for the fulfillment of your righteous promise. Deal with your servant according to your steadfast love, and teach me your statutes. Therefore I love your commandments above gold, above fine gold. Therefore I consider all your precepts to be right; I hate every false way.
What in this day and age is more valuable than fine gold? A little research indicated that rhodium is now the most precious of all metals, primarily because of its role in electronics. But I haven’t been able to verify that. However the point remains is that the Commandments of the LORD, God, the Almighty are far and away above the most valuable of all things. I might consider stating that the LORD’s commandments are far more valuable than refined rhodium.
