Psalm 106:6-7
Both we and our fathers have sinned; we have committed iniquity; we have done wickedness. Our fathers, when they were in Egypt, did not consider your wondrous works; they did not remember the abundance of your steadfast love, but rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea.
Lord, Your Church has abandoned Your for the blandishments of the culture. We have relegated You to a private section of our lives. We worship You when convenient; we obey You when not burdensome; we do not let You interfere with our acquisition of all the material goals of the world. We have sinned and continue to sin,
