Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
Trust, trust, trust, trust–Got it, John? This is complete, total commitment to the LORD, God the Almighty. No holding back, no saving something for a rainy day. This is a willingness to depend on the LORD, God the Almighty to direct my path, choosing which way to go, how to proceed, what methods to use, everything.
Lord, strip me of pride in my own capabilities and talents, reveal to me those areas that I still reserve to my own judgments. Lead me into Your understanding.
