And when Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, for he was teaching them as one who had authority, and not as their scribes.
Yes, Lord, I must hear You as the One who has authority, as the One who must be obeyed without question, as the One who called me to Himself and paid my ransom. I must accept Your Word as the Ultimate Word, the Word to be accepted unconditionally.
