"Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
My problem, Lord, is that when I focus at the food and clothing level, my concerns are centered on the transient, not on the eternal. Yes, food and clothing are necessary but not of overriding importance. Help me to keep up my spiritual eyes on the immediacy of the Kingdom, always trusting in Your providence for the material.
