"Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
I find two key conditions here. One is that the reviling, the persecution and the evil acts must have a false basis. If not, I've got some repentance and transformation to work on. The second is whether or not this is because of my witness as a son of God or is it just something that hurts my pride? If the latter, I've got some work to do on my humility and contrition. But if it is on the account of my testimony regarding the grace and mercy of my Lord, hallelujah.
