But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. "Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."
It seems to be time for a refresher course in living in and walking out the Kingdom of Heaven in the here and now. A time to remind myself of what it means to trust the LORD, God the Almighty in all things. Not so much of a detour from my examination of the characteristics of the LORD as an examination of the out working of those characteristics.
Lesson 1: 1st order of priority is to focus on the righteousness of God as it is played out in the Kingdom, remembering that my constant prayer is that the Kingdom of Heaven will be active in the here and now through me.
Lesson 2: TRUST GOD IN ALL THINGS
Lesson 3: Focus on today. Yes, I have decisions to make each day that depend upon what will happen in the future, but if I make those decisions based on the leading of the Holy Spirit, I have no basis for anxiety.
