He went away again across the Jordan to the place where John had been baptizing at first, and there he remained. And many came to him. And they said, “John did no sign, but everything that John said about this man was true.” And many believed in him there.
We, as later day Johns, are not necessarily called to provide signs and wonders, but it is absolutely imperative that every word we speak about the Lord Jesus Christ be true. It is necessary that each of us“do our best to present ourselves to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15
