For my sighing comes instead of my bread, and my groanings are poured out like water. For the thing that I fear comes upon me, and what I dread befalls me. I am not at ease, nor am I quiet; I have no rest, but trouble comes.”
Job is upfront about his problems, he admits that fear and dread have fallen upon him. I have to learn to admit that there are things, events, circumstances, and troubles in my life that I fear and dread. Part of learning to turn them over to the LORD, is a through and honest examination of the dimensions of the problem. I need to search for the sources but I do not needto lay awake all night, stewing and fussing. That time is better spent praising the LORD for His intervention and guidance.
