It is he who made the earth by his power, who established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding stretched out the heavens.
I wonder, Lord, why man is driven to dig into the hows of the creation and less into the whys? It is right and proper to seek the answers to the mechanics of the creation if I am seeking a deeper understanding of You and in order to build a sense of appreciation and awe for the beauty and completeness of the creation. But modern man seeks that understanding as a means to deny You, a confirmation of his worldview that man is the supreme being. Does He refuse to dig into the whys because it is that where Your purpose is revealed?
