making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.
Imitation #9 I just caught something in this passage. It is the time, not time, that I am to make best use of. I think this implies a visionary time, my efforts must be directed towards that span of time remaining until I meet my Lord.
And best use is to be determined by prayerfully searching the Scriptures for guidance and asking the Holy Spirit to reveal the next step to me.
