Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need.
Think about this, John. You are supposed to share the fruit of your very own labor with others–not the fruit of another individual's labor.
I wonder: Does that include supporting increased state welfare spending? Is that a form of sharing the fruit of others when I should be shouldering more of the burden on my own?
Today's readings in the Psalms:
Morning: Psalm 7
Mid-day: 119:121-128
Evening: Psalm 82
