For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you and for those at Laodicea and for all who have not seen me face to face, that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Lord, that great revelation: the riches of the full assurance that You are the source, the Great Treasure Chest of all wisdom and knowledge. It also is that love, true sacrificial agape, is the glue that binds that treasure into me to the extent that I live out that love. Hallelujah, my acts of obedience in loving my neighbor bring me into a closer God-centered relationship. Or into a greater conformance with the first commandment. That, indeed, is all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Today's readings in the Psalms:
Morning: Psalm 100
Mid-day: 119:161-168
