The Elder, To the beloved Gaius, whom I love in truth: Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
TRUTH Pilate asked the question; it should be asked by each of us. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me.” TRUTH was standing before Pilate who refused to wait for the answer. HE is standing before you and me. Pilate turned and walked away. Will I? Will you? John identifies TRUTH as the source of his greatest joy. Will you and I give Him equivalent rank?
