2 Corinthians 4:1-2

John Nunnikhoven

Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God’s word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.

Lord, that my ministry would be open and transparent to all; that I would carry Your Word to all, untampered and true, without bringing it into a state that is acceptable in the world’s eyes. Let me not forget that You are the Judge, that it is You I must honor, that it is You whom I present to the world in word and deed.
