Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
I did not realize until recently that my anxieties were an expression of my pride in my self-sufficiency. "How am I going to fix this problem? Fuss and stew. Stew and fuss." If I truly believe/trust/have faith that the LORD, God the Almighty cares for me, I will turn the problem over to Him and rejoice as He deals with the situation. I need to acknowledge that I am totally incapable and He is totally capable.
