“Faith in the Faith: Using the Apostles’ Creed as an Outline for Discipleship”
I am offering an online course called “Faith in the Faith: Using the Apostles’ Creed as an Outline for Discipleship.” The course will be held bi-weekly via Zoom on Wednesdays from 3-4pm (Eastern time), April 20th through June 29th (six sessions). The class is intended for pastors and ministry leaders and will be limited to 12 participants.
Below is the summary from the course syllabus. If you would like more information or to register, contact me at sdgale@chopministry.net. The only financial cost will be my Christian’s Creed book and workbook available at Amazon.
SUMMARY: “Christ’s shepherds are instructed to equip the saints toward “unity in the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God” (Eph. 4:12-13). Elsewhere, Paul describes the mandate as rooting and building up in Christ, establishing in the faith (Col. 2:7). In both places, the goal is to protect Christ’s disciples from spiritual harm (Eph. 4:14; Col. 2:8) and foster their spiritual maturity. An outline for this basic instruction in the faith can be found in the Apostles’ Creed.”
