Put false ways far from me and graciously teach me your law!
False ways–hypocrisy. Whitewashing sin with a skim coating of pride and religiosity. Yet it is the Law that exposes this false way of living and brings me into the Kingdom to live in the righteousness, peace and joy that is life through the Holy Spirit.
I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I set your rules before me.
Lord, this is a verse of intentionality. You made the offer, but it was up to me to accept. You, in Your graciousness, sent the Holy Spirit to guide me into the completion of my vows, but I must continue to choose and follow.
