The presence, promise, and power of the Kingdom of God

Psalm 145:10-18 NKJV
All Your works shall praise You, O LORD, and Your saints shall bless you.
They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom, and talk of Your power,
To make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of His kingdom.
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations.
The LORD upholds all who fall and raises up all who are bowed down.
The eyes of all look expectantly to You, and You give them their food in due season.
You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.
The LORD is righteous in all His ways, gracious in all His works.
The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.

Heavenly Father, my Lord and my God,
I join with the natural world that you so beautifully made, and with godly people today and those who have lived before me, to give you the honor and praise that you are due.
By your Presence and power, you are advancing your rule in this world and there is nothing that can stop it.  Despite the darkness of evil all around us, we are confident that “the darkness shall turn to dawning, and the dawning to noonday bright, and Christ’s great kingdom shall come to earth – the kingdom of love and light.” (Ernest Nichol)
Although you are majestic and glorious, you stoop to care for weak and fallen people like me. We look to you in our poverty, and you meet every one of our needs.
You, Lord, are the perfection of holiness and righteousness – “perfect in power, in love, in purity.” (Reginald Heber)
You, Lord, are a gracious and loving Provider.
You, Lord, are near to anyone who truly seeks to know you and humbly turns to you in faith and obedience.
Receive my praise, O Lord!
Hear my prayer, O Lord!
“Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer blessed Lord, to Thy precious, bleeding side.” (Fanny Crosby)
Amen.
