God is God forevermore
Ephesians 6:10-20 NKJV
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power. Â Put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our struggle is not against enemies of blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Â Therefore take up the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand on that evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Â Stand therefore, and fasten the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness. Â As shoes for your feet put on whatever will make you ready to proclaim the gospel of peace. Â With all of these, take the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints. Â Pray also for me, so that when I speak, a message may be given to me to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains.
Pray that I may declare it boldly, as I must speak.
Forevermore
Susan Bentall Boersma | Isaac Watts
Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Word of God, the Cornerstone, yesterday, today, forever, seated on His heavenly throne. In this world that God created, broken by the fall of man, God remains the sure foundation, steadfast and unshakable, forevermore.
O God, our help in ages past, our hope for years to come, our shelter from the stormy blast, and our eternal home.
God will not forget his promise ever faithful to remain, never to forsake or leave us, by our side both night and day. Our tomorrows hold no secrets that the Father does not know; we can trust Him, ever working for His glory and our good, forevermore.
Under the shadow of Thy throne Thy saints have dwelt secure; sufficient is Thine arm alone, and our defense is sure.
Praise the Author of creation, of the world and all it holds; Word eternal, standing firm, our God is God forevermore.
O God, our help in ages past, our hope for years to come, be Thou our guard while life shall last and our eternal home.
Forevermore, forevermore, forevermore!
