Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.
As I grow in understanding through study and meditation upon Your Word, one of the results is growth in my awareness of evil and its consequences. I develop in my hatred of evil, in my unwillingness to tolerate evil, in my revulsion of evil and in my compulsion to shine the light of Your Word in those dark places. I must continue to hide Your Word in my heart.
