Psalm 2:4-6 He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision.

John Nunnikhoven

Psalm 2:4-6

He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. Then He will speak to them in His wrath, and terrify them in His fury, saying, “As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill.”

How terrifying Your fury must be as You watch these puny creatures rant and rave against You. And how terrifying to me as I realize that I have defied the LORD, God Almighty. I am not worthy! Have mercy on me, a sinner. for Your King reigns.
