and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Lord, forgive me for I often find it difficult to forgive those who offend me. I would rather dwell on the offense and plot revenge than accept their plea for forgiveness.
Lord, remove the compulsion to punish the offender by rehashing the details of the offense and attempting to make the individual understand the depths of my hurt feelings. Help me to respond as You have responded to me. With gentleness, love and restoration.
Praise You, Lord Jesus.
