Your promise is well tried, and your servant loves it.
I do love Your promises; I find great comfort in them—when I remember them. When will I arrive at that blessed state of totally depending upon Your wisdom and guidance in all things? When will I learn to seek out Your promises on a matter and act upon that promise rather than going my own way until the situation is so bad I must turn to You? Then and only then, You will truly be Lord and Master of my life.
