Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! … Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!
LORD, forgive me for allowing my thinking to be so human-centered. Everything that has breath: the birds and the bees, the cattle on ten thousand hills, frogs and toads, fish in the sea, all created entities, including mankind, must raise their voices in praise to You.
LORD, create in me an innate sense of union with Your creation that will immediately sense a burst of praise when I hear a bird sing. Tonight, when I hear the coyotes howl up on Crow Hill, remind me that they too sing a paean of praise.
Let every word of my mouth, every thought of my mind be couched in Your praises.
