Psalms 150:1-2, 6 [4]

John Nunnikhoven

Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds;praise him according to his excellent greatness! … Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!

Your "mighty deeds" are rarely recognized by the world as something so far out of the ordinary that it can only be ascribed to Your might and power. Where did the strength and peace come from for those 21 Copts as they knelt prior to their execution? Where did the strength and peace come from for the Christians who were executed at the community college in Oregon? Where does the strength and peace come from for the thousands who are facing torture and execution throughout the Muslim dominated regions of the world?

Where, but from You, the LORD, God the Almighty. This peace, this strength is testimony to the world that Your mighty deeds continue to this very day.

Praise the LORD!
