In you, O LORD, do I take refuge; let me never be put to shame! In your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; incline your ear to me, and save me! Be to me a rock of refuge, to which I may continually come; you have given the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.
Your righteousness, Lord, is my rock, my refuge, my fortress. It is the haven that I must come to for peace and renewal; it it the armory where I am equipped for Your work; it is the staging point from which I sally forth to do battle against the Evil One; it is the Polar Star to lead me in my daily walk on the King’s Highway; it is where I find all substance. Praise You, my Lord and Master.
