Praise to God in His Holiness and Majesty
 Psalm 29 NKJV
Give unto the Lord, O you mighty ones,
Give unto the Lord glory and strength.
Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name;
Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
The God of glory thunders;
The Lord is over many waters.
The voice of the Lord is powerful;
The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars,
Yes, the Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon.
He makes them also skip like a calf,
Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox.
The voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire.
The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness;
The Lord shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.
The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth,
And strips the forests bare;
And in His temple everyone says, “Glory!”
The Lord sat enthroned at the Flood,
And the Lord sits as King forever.
The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace.
Father God, majestic in your holiness, all-powerful creator and ruler of all things,
In vain we seek to praise you in ways that you deserve. Yet still, we join our awe and amazement with the praises of the heavenly hosts and cry, “Great are you, Lord!”
We take in the vastness of your creation, hearing your “voice” in pounding ocean waves and rumbles of thunder that shake the ground under our feet, and we cry, “Great are you, Lord!”
Giant forests, mammoth animals, constellations beyond counting, and the potent forces of nature all join to display your grandeur and cause us to fall on our faces to declare, “Great are you, Lord!”
You are beautiful in your holiness, O God!
You are awesome in your majesty, O Lord!
All that you are, seen in all that you have made, calls forth from us jubilant shouts of “Glory!”
Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow!
Praise Him, all creatures here below!
Praise Him above, ye heavenly hosts!
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost!
In the greatest scenes of beauty, and in the most tragic moments of disaster, you are King. You bless your people with your never-ending presence and love. To the God of “holy glory” who gives his faithful love to fallen humanity, we lift our voices again and cry, “Great are you, Lord!”
Amen.
Honored, Glorified, Exalted
