Attend to my cry, for I am brought very low! Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me! Bring me out of prison, that I may give thanks to your name! The righteous will surround me, for you will deal bountifully with me.
I never expected my chief persecutor to be myself, but as I mature (I am maturing, not aging) it becomes more and more difficult to accept and deal with. The question of maintaining a Christian witness while using a physical system that no longer responds in the expected ways is exceedingly challenging. The biggest challenge and the most unexpected is learning to accept offers of help graciously rather than seeing them as another marker of unexpected maturing. The second is be thankful that the LORD has surrounded me with loving saints who continue to love in spite of my curmudgeonly attitude.

Reading
Morning Psalm 66, Noon Psalm 119:25-32, Evening Psalm 150. If you follow this regimen, you will pray through the Psalms every 47 days or just under 8 times per year.
An alternate Reading Plan is based on 7 chapters/day from 7 sections of the Scriptures. My groupings are: Genesis-Joshua, Judges to Esther, Job to Song of Solomon, Psalms breaking 119 into convenient sets, Isaiah to Malachi, Matthew to Acts, Romans to Revelation.
Or set your own reading schedule up in convenient groupings as fits your study habits. But a daily time in the Word of the LORD is an absolute.
