You therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, Awake to punish all the nations; Psalm 59:5-9

John Nunnikhoven

You therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, Awake to punish all the nations; Do not be merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah At evening they return, They growl like a dog, And go all around the city. Indeed, they belch with their mouth; Swords arein their lips; For they say,"Who hears?" But You, O LORD, shall laugh at them; You shall have all the nations in derision. I will wait for You, O You his Strength; For God ismy defense.

LORD,God of Hosts. Punish those who transgress against Your Word. Bring Your justice to the all the nations. Let the Evil Ones suffer the ignominy of Your derision.

But we, those who wait for You and Your strength, You are our defense.

Reading

Morning Psalm 115, Noon Psalm 119:161-168, Evening Psalm 14.

Alternate Reading Plan based on 7 chapters/day from 7 sections of the Scriptures. My groupings are: Genesis-Joshua, Judges to Esther, Job to Song of Solomon, Psalms breaking 119 into convenient sets, Isaiah to Malachi, Matthew to Acts, Romans to Revelation.

Set your own up in convenient groupings as fits your study habits.

I suggest either setting aside a period of the day to read all, or break the readings up into morning, mid-day, and evening series. Both approaches have their advantages, and both will build an awareness of the Bible as a whole over time
