Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues. Let all things be done decently and in order.
It is interesting that this last sentence follows a warning against forbidding a practice many regard as out of order. The conclusion has to be drawn out of a recognition that the Holy Spirit moves and directs our worship as He sees fit for the time and as He deems appropriate.
