1 Corinthians 9:12

John Nunnikhoven

If others are partakers of this right over you, are we not even more? Nevertheless we have not used this right, but endure all things lest we hinder the gospel of Christ.

Paul recognizes that he must not allow anything to interfere with his ministry. Nothing this world can throw at him can stand in the way of the gospel.

And here I sit, COVID-19 has put a major roadblock in our ability to minister in the prisons of Vermont. But it is a hindrance, not a roadblock. The Lord has provided many avenues to minister to those He considers the very least. And its working, the gospel and teaching is going in through TV and print, through phone and Zoom and with a renewed focus on the ex-inmate population.

Pray that the devil cannot stop the flow of the Good News.

Readings:

Morning Psalm 125, Noon Psalm 119:97-104, Evening Psalm 75

Errata  several serious errors in yesterday's VT. The last paragraph should read:

From the most minute, perhaps a quark, to the most mind  stunning, incomprehensible, Creation itself, all included in the “all things” of this verse.
