But as it is written: "eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love him." But God has revealed them to us through his Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
That little kid in me, the one from about 77 years ago, reads this passage and immediately says, WOW, Christmas everyday and all day long.” And that little kid is not too far wrong. The Lord God, the Almighty has spread out the riches of His Creation before me and says, “For you, my son.” Again, I come back to 1 John 3:1. “How great is the love that the Father has lavished upon us that we are called the children of God” (ESV)
