John 1:1-3

John Nunnikhoven

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

This may the most inclusive of all the 'all things.' I cannot think of a single thing that is not included in that precious all. Of course, I do have a significant limitation, I am a finite being which makes it impossible to grasp the infinite. I can tell you that to the LORD, God, the Almighty every when is now and every where is here. But being able to relate a fact does not mean that I comprehend its implications. (The first version of the last word in the previous sentence was implicomplications. I liked it and may use it in the future but my spell checker gave me a Bronx Cheer on that one.)

Readings:

Morning Psalm 82, Noon Psalm 119:113-120, Evening Psalm 33
