Psalm 119:161, 162

John Nunnikhoven

Psalm 119:161

Princes persecute me without cause, but my heart stands in awe of your words.

Your Word stands between me and persecution, scorn, and derision. It is my bulwark against the evils of this world. Build my faith, Lord.

Psalm 119:162

I rejoice at your word like one who finds great spoil.

What a vista opens up when I accept that the Kingdom of Heaven is available to me now and that God's grace and mercy has made it possible for me to enter into that place of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Hallelujah and maranatha.
